Our five-year strategic plan aims to build on the success and continuous growth of padel in India.
Reflecting on our previous five-year strategic plan, we have surpassed our goals in developing and regulating padel in India. In 2018, we achieved affiliation with the International Padel Federation (FIP) and in 2020, affiliated to the Asia-Pacific Padel Committee (APAC).
The number of padel players in India continues to grow at an impressive rate, necessitating the infrastructure to support this exponential growth. Our strategic plan is a living document that will help us successfully increase the number of padel players over the next few years. The continued involvement of our members and stakeholders will determine the success of our plan and contribute to the sport’s benefit in India.
We are committed to focusing on the following areas:
- Geographical Expansion: Continuing to increase the geographical spread of padel across India.
- Facility Development: Supporting the creation and development of new padel facilities, including clubs, gyms, schools, colleges, hotels, and residential estates.
- Club Support: Providing ongoing support for new clubs, including staff and coach training.
- International Participation: Securing India’s selection and participation in International tournaments organised under the aegis of FIP .
- Junior Development: Promoting junior participation at a competitive level.
